Nowadays the Al Di Meola’s musical image
in jazz society inquire deserved value homage.
A guitar playing with finesse and high speed,
then surprisingly followed by quiet gentle deep.

This music is a mixture from fast elegance
and very rare so specific pizzicato romance,
from raw ground breaking fusion experiments
passing to mellow contemporary arrangements.

Tango,flamenco,brazilian and latino motives
in Al Di Meola’s hands sound purely natives.
There are acoustic, romantic and lyric sounds,
variety of different world folklore compounds.

Also extremely fast race through the strings
and soft tones wearing from the fusion wings,
impressing with out of breath improvisations-
and on the contrast with melodic innovations.

Al Di Meola plays with grace rhythm explosion
adding new technically elements in promotion.
Sometimes rapidly going into aggressive major
and after that slowly turns to a melodic minor.

His traditionally recognized manner of playing:
a typical gentle glissando on the strings sliding
and often using of the favourite method “triola”

12. He started with studing in Berklee school of music
blazing jazz player who could be called now basic.
The efforts turn him to world commercial musician
in consequence he became such a guitar technician.

In the beginning of his successfull musical career
formed band Return To Forever with Chick Corea.
Music from a favourite composer Astor Piazzola
is included in two studio albums of Al Di Meola.

Al created the innovative World Sinfonia project
thereof the level of sound rises to promoted aspect,
too deep and evocative lyricism, a kind of modest,
familiar, remainding Short tales of the black forest.

Di Meola playing is extended throughout in a variety,
with musical depth, melodies and rhythmic diversity,
between chamber music and symphonic rock range,
laced with jazz and world music in flowing change!
