Twenty years very sadly gone
without any Miles Davis tone,
most incredible trumpet man-
to play like him nobody can…

Known as the Prince of darkness
without him the jazz feel sadness…
Miles started musings with be-bop
always was ahead and on the top.

Then created cool jazz & fusion
put the feelings beyond illusion.
Davis had so incredible abilities
to make all play over possibilities.

Established highest jazz standard          
and being always in the vanguard
known not only as songs writer-              
in his art-life was also a painter.

Musicians follow him as a leader,
because of elusiveness was reader.
Miles smiles from the jazz throne
remains for the music milestone!
